My father was dedicated to making his kids dreams come true. After long days in the office, he would find the time and energy to get us to our after school activities. From practices, recitals, and private lessons, he made sure we had the chance to succeed. Every weekend was spent driving to different towns across the state and sometimes across the country to support and celebrate with us. Swimming, soccer, baseball, basketball, and football. You name it, he was there to support us. I owe him a lot. His dedication to me helped me achieve my dream of earning a scholarship and playing college baseball. Now that I have a little one on the way, I can only try to mimic what my dad did for us. He was an incredible example of how to provide for my future family so that my little ones can to achieve their goals, no matter what they may be.
My father is a true hard worker, who is extremely passionate in helping other people. He tries his best to always make a smile and spreads positivity to others, even if he is having a rough day. He has never expected anything from anyone and puts others before himself. It would mean the world to finally give back to everything he has done for the community and our family by winning this contest.
I am nominating my brother in law who is a terrific father of two. A kind and attentive father.
His job means working weekends and holidays, many times missing special days with us. When we ask what he’d like for Christmas, Father’s Day, or his birthday, He always says be home with us. Unfortunately he doesn’t golf. He drives an 8 year old, “adult” car. But he has 4 subscriptions to car magazines and will comment or exclaim (!!!!) when a cool car passes us. We’re sure he would get inside the BMW and rack up a couple of hundred miles before we see him again. He’d have to call in sick, he’s working Father’s Day!
Jeremy Johnson is an amazing father to two girls, Lailah (7) and Jaelynn (5). He works so hard and always makes time to take them on fun adventures and volunteer for groups/sports they are apart of.
“My dad is special because he takes us on bike rides and swimming” -Jaelynn.
“My dad is specail because he helped me make a pine wood derby car for Girl Scouts and helped me sell Girl Scout cookies” – Lailah.
Life took my husband around for a spin a few years back but the way he rose up out of it all and continued to work hard for to provide for us and now our first born son has impressed me to the utmost. He works hard, keeps our family happy and healthy and our little man and I would LOVE for him to win this well deserved day out of golf as golf is his very favorite sport but he struggles to find time for it with his busy schedule.
“Scott is a hardworking, driven man that always gives you something to laugh at. Not only is he dedicated to his work, but to his family. He always puts my sisters and I and my mom before himself. He is a simple man. He loves steak fajitas, margaritas, and golf more than anyone I know. I truly don’t know what I did to deserve a father like him. He has taught me ‘whatever you put into something, you’ll get out of it’ and ‘every boy lies when he opens his mouth.’ He is the most loving, protective and goofiest dad on the planet.”
