More than just a Denver BMW Dealer
Schomp BMW is part of the locally-owned and operated Ralph Schomp Automotive group that includes Schomp Honda in Littelton, Schomp MINI in Littleton, as well as Fay Myers Motorcycle World in Greenwood Village. At Schomp BMW, we are proud of our heritage, and we are equally proud of being the Number 1 volume BMW franchise in the region. Of course, we didn't get to be the biggest BMW Center by short-changing our relationships. From our One Price pricing philosophy that allows you to get the very best price up front to our total commitment to customer satisfaction, you can be sure that your car buying experience at Schomp BMW will be second to none.
As the third-generation owner and president of Ralph Schomp Automotive, Lisa J. Schomp oversees operations for not only Schomp BMW, but also the Rocky Mountain region's Number 1 volume Honda dealer and Colorado's first MINI dealer, as well as Fay Myers Motorcycle World in Greenwood Village.
As a Time Magazine Quality Dealer, Lisa is highly respected as an innovator; helping to positively change the industry's image by focusing on what her business could give back to the community. For more than a decade, her dealership has been rated the Top Woman-owned Company in Colorado by Colorado Biz Magazine and The Denver Business Journal.
Lisa is also known for her civic-mindedness, and selects groups and activities to sponsor based on her beliefs and values. Schomp BMW employees volunteer hundreds of hours coordinating and working at Schomp-sponsored community events. Despite bleak economic forecasts for the auto industry, Lisa surprised many by her decision to continue funding Schomp's community partners, maintaining "They need our support now more than ever before." Knowing how costly space can be for a small business or nonprofit, Lisa and her family offer their large MINI and BMW conference rooms and Schomp BMW's spacious "Galleria" basement showroom at no charge for meetings, classes, and fundraising events.

Ralph Schomp Automotive - History
Ralph Schomp Automotive was founded by Lisa Schomp's maternal grandfather, Roy Weaver. In 1941, Weaver established Arapahoe Motors on South Broadway in Englewood and launched a Denver automobile group that would eventually include son-in-law, Ralph Schomp. A veteran of World War II, Ralph graduated with a degree in architecture, but jobs in his field were difficult to come by in post-war Denver. He began working for his father-in-law and purchased Arapahoe Motors in Englewood in 1955, which over the years became Ralph Schomp, Inc. and was moved to its current location in Littleton in the 1980's.
Born in 1952, the fourth of Ralph and Kay Schomp's six daughters, Lisa knew early on that she wanted to follow her father into the car business. Convinced his daughter wouldn't make it in the male-dominated auto industry; Ralph tested her mettle by insisting she learn the business from the ground up.
Lisa began her automotive career in 1972 as a "coffee greeter girl" in a mini-skirt, serving coffee and donuts to customers. She worked her way up through virtually all departments, ultimately earning her father's respect and approval. She and her husband, Mark Wallace, took the reins of the dealership in 1988.
In 1993, we introduced our of "One-Price" Business Philosophy - a philosophy that actually makes car buying a pleasurable experience for our customers. In short, we will give you our best price for any new BMW, used BMW, Certified BMW or used car right up front - no more hassles and haggles with car salesmen. Interestingly, nearly 20 years later most dealers still sell cars via hours of haggle and hassle, though not at Schomp BMW.
